Growth Mindset Plan

Power of the Growth Mindset Assignment

One of the first topics we explored in Concepts of Educational Technology at Lamar University,, was the idea of the "growth mindset" and "fixed mindset" as described by Carol Dweck in Mindset (2006). My presentation below discusses why the growth mindset is important and how to communicate the message of "yet" to others. I go on to describe the four step "Change Your Mindset" plan as detailed by Dweck, how I might implement it on personal level, and how I could use the growth mindset to effect organizational change.
